When I turned 40 years old I was casting a Hitchcockian shadow, and the last time I had weighed myself I was 270 lbs. That summer I decided I needed to stop being a spectator in my life and start being a participant. To that end, my wife and I started the couch to 5K running plan. Fast forward 7 years–I have lost 100 lbs, run nearly 5000 miles and completed 4 marathons. This is my journey.
